About Ian
Being part of the General Body family since 2003, with most of those years being spent in a customer service capacity, has given me a real passion for this work. My academic background includes a Journeyman ticket in Warehousing and Parts (Red and Blue Seal), as well as a Journeyman for Business Management diploma (from NAIT). This, paired with my lengthy real-world experience in this industry, affords me the perspective and training to confidently work collaboratively with customers to achieve meaningful solutions to their unique heavy-duty equipment and parts needs.
Being part of the General Body team for such a long time has afforded me the joy of watching the company grow from its roots as a family-owned business, proficient at building relationships with clients (and pursuing all manner of custom vehicle-mounted fabrication projects), to a now extremely versatile and professional organization capable of excelling at supporting both larger fleet and individual client needs (both custom, and standardized).
When not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, I’ve been a born and raised Edmontonian and now very happy resident of Sherwood Park, where we enjoy supporting our kids in their various sporting activities (and going for bike rides, when the weather allows).
